Tide was developed as a collection of servingware specifically for seafood dishes. Echoing elements of the ocean as oversized seashells and crustaceans form platters and servingware. Elegant, with its clean white finish capturing organic curves of nature. Sold into Myer as a leading summer range of servingware including platters, dip dishes, pate knifes, oyster dishes, mussel bowls, tapas spoons and more.
3D Modelling & Rendering
The Tide collection was developed using advanced surface modelling techniques to achieve complex 3D shapes to mimic the irregularities of nature.
Packaging
Adapting the Salt&Pepper style guide Tide features life-like renderings instead of photography allowing products to seemingly splash across the front of gift boxes. Alongside the flat artwork below sits a rendering of a two part PVC fronted pate knife box indicative of what the actual final product might look like.
Engineering Drawings
Each piece in the Tide collection is completely designed from scratch using 3D software to create models of each item and then engineering drawings for mass manufacture.
