Product Design
These children’s nightlights by Smash were developed to ‘keep the monsters away’. Designed with kids in mind they feature smash-proof, heat-resistant plastic moulded characters. Each nightlight is powered by an AC adaptor with a charging base allowing the ability to completely remove the character while it remains lit via LEDs. Fitted with a switch that allows the user to toggle between two modes of lighting, rainbow multi-coloured hues or pause on any particular colour. The lighting collection includes dinosaurs, rocket, egg, bear and fairy.
Packaging
The range of Nite Light packaging is bright and playful reflecting the intention of the product. Each giftbox is predominantly black with the featured night light highlighted on the front in a diecut window with the full colour spectrum of the lights depicted in a graduating rainbow down the side. On the back of the box customers can find a story in the voice of each character and on the sides call outs are used to highlight the features and benefits of the product in keeping with the tone, enhanced by in-situ imagery.
